World War II U.S. Navy Uniform


This is a World War II era U. S. Navy uniformĀ  made by the “M. Born and Co.” The uniform jacket and pants are in pristine condition with little to no signs of wear visible. On the bottoms of either sleeve are a pair of equally sized stripes and an embroidered star which indicates that this man achieved the rank of Lieutenant and was a man of the line. Additionally, in the inside pocket of the jacket the name and information about the the sailor who wore this uniform can be found. The sailor’s name was “E. G. Miller,” and the jacket he wore was between a size 34 and a size 36.
