World War II M1 Garand Bayonet – Cut-Down M1903 Springfield Bayonet. Bayonet is marked “1917” on one side indicating that it was original a Springfield bayonet that at some point was cut down and modified to but used on an M1 Garand. Manufactured and proved by the Rock Island Arsenal, and the locking mechanism on the scabbard still functions perfectly.
