World War I U.S. Military Uniform Jacket
This is a World War I U.S. military uniform jacket. The jacket itself has a pair of brass lapel pins, one reading “U.S.” and the other one bearing a pair of cannons indicating that this man was a member of an artillery regiment. On the left sleeve is a pair of patches. The single stripe located on the upper portion of the sleeve indicates that this man was a private. The pair of stripes on the lower portion of the sleeve indicates that he served for a year overseas. Overall the jacket is in very good condition and all of the brass fixtures bear very nice wear and patina from age.
