Post-World War II Japanese-Made M4 Bayonet for the M1 Carbine. This bayonet was manufactured by “Kiffe” after World War II ended to meet the demand for surplus M1 Carbines and their bayonets. The blade fits snugly in its sheath, although the locking mechanism on the base of the bayonet has seized up and appears to have been immobilized with some sort of glue.
