World War II U.S. International Signal Co. Flare Pistol

This is a World War II era U.S. International Signal Co. Flare Pistol. This Flare Pistol is in wonderful condition with a smooth break open action and a somewhat stiff release level. On either side of the grips reads in all capital letters: “INTERNATIONAL FLARE SIGNAL CO TIPPECANOE CITY OHIO.” On the left side of the flare pistol reads “19403, PT SEP ’43,” and on the frame underneath the barrel is the stamped numbers “24.” The only signs of age and wear can be found in the form of spotting near below the hammer, by the trigger itself, and at the base of the hammer on the back of the gun. The barrel is completely devoid of rust and is clean inside and out. It would be difficult to find an upgrade from this fine example of a flare gun.
