World War II German Tropical Afrikakorps Canteen

This is a World War II German Afrikakorps tropical canteen. The canteen itself is in fairly good condition with the original marker’s stamp visible on one side. The stamped side reads, “D.R.G.M., H.R.E. 42, D.R.P. angm., M.” The canteen shows some signs of where here and there in the form of small scuffs and wear marks. The lid of the canteen is devoid of rust and shows some signs of age and wear. Additionally, there are a series of characters stamped into the metal which read, “WWL37.” The inside of the canteen is almost entirely clean as well.
