World War II era USMC Hospital Corpsman Knife

This is a World War II era “USMC” Hospital Corpsman knife. This knife was manufactured for use by the “United States Medical Corps” and bears the original etching on the blade above the location of “Chatillon, NY.” The original grip is present but it cracked and was repaired using electrical tape. This tape can be easily removed, although it is holding one of the grip panels on.
