World War II era U.S. Army Dress Jacket


This is a World War II era U.S. Army dress jacket. This jacket is in good condition with few signs of age, wear, or staining. The jacket has the lapel pins of the Signal Corps and a small badge indicating that its previous owner was a member of the 57th Signal Battalion (reading as “Vicimus Spatium”). Present also is a ruptured duck patch, a ribbon bar, and patches which indicate he served for 2 years overseas with the rank of Staff Sergeant. The jacket is a size 37 short, and there is a patch which indicates this man was also a member of the 6th Corps.
