World War II Brown and Bigelow Artist’s Sketch Pad for a Calendar

$80.00

This is a World War II era “Artist’s Sketch Pad” of a calendar printed by Brown and Bigelow. The artist, K. O. Munson, painted a large number of “Pin-Up” girls for many calendars and other wartime posters manufactured in the United States. This sketch pad features twelve drawings, one for each month. Each month has a set theme or pattern to it, and all of the artwork is still in very good condition. There is, however, some slight damage to the first month’s image in the form of the corner having fallen off from water damage. There are also some stains and wear from the water damage wearing through the various sheets.
