World War I U.S. Army Individual First Aid Pouch and Dressing

This is a World War I U.S. Army IFAK pouch and dressing. This is a Rock Island Army Model of 1918 pouch with an individual dressing packet from a July 25, 1917 contract. This packet was manufactured by Bauer and Black Chicago, U.S.A. There is some print inked on the inside of the pouch’s cover which reads as “1-ST, 1 – 36.”
