World War I Imperial German Iron Cross and Hindenburg Badge
This is a World War I Iron Cross Second Class and a Hindenburg Badge medal bar grouping. Both medals are in good condition, with only small signs of wear visible here and there. The silver of the Iron Cross features some patina while the Hindenburg Badge shows some scuffing and what appears to be a small glob of paint or glue on the back. On the back of the Hindenburg badge, the maker’s mark of “St. & L.” can be found. The medal bar that both medals have been wrapped around is in good condition with some slight rust on the side closest to the Iron Cross. Additionally, the ribbons of both medals show some age marks on the white bands, but overall are in very good condition.
