Vietnam War Named Bronze Star
This is a Vietnam War era named Bronze Star. This Bronze Star was earned by Johnnie Walter Davis during the Vietnam War. Specialist Davis was killed in action in Hua Nghia province on May 9, 1968. He was born in Moore County, North Carolina, and his name can be seen on Panel 57E, Row 19 of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. The Bronze Star is in beautiful condition with no signs of staining or patina visible anywhere on its surface. On the back of the star, the name “Johnnie Davis” is emblazoned onto the metal in raised letters. Additionally, the star comes with the ribbon bar which shows a small amount of staining on the white portion.
