Vietnam War Engraved Lighter

This is a Vietnam War era engraved Beattie Lighter. This lighter was used by Joseph Schvimmer, a member of the Marine Corps who was a part of the Marine Composite Reconnaissance Squadron 1, 2, and 3. On the side of the lighter with has name is a small Marine Corps emblem under which is written “U.S.M.C.” On the opposite side is a U.S. Navy Aircraft symbol and the characters, “VMCJ-2, VMCJ-3, VMCJ-1.” There is some patina around the engraved areas, and the lighter requires a new flint and wick.
