This is a U.S. Army paratrooper rip cord. The rip cord is in good condition and shows no signs of rust or patina. There is a stamped series of letters and numbers on one part of the rip cord which read as: “AN-6567-1 W” (with the “W” in a circle). This is an interesting item which would make a good addition to any collection.
