“Done in the Open” by Frederic Remington

This book, titled “Done in the Open” and written or compiled by Frederic Remington, features seventy-seven drawings of pictorial boards, the original cloth spine, a few marks and small tears here and there, and several double-page spread in color. This book is a splendid portfolio of vigorous outdoor scenes–portrait vignettes, full-page, and double-page illustrations–by a Western artist, and each picture is accompanied by verses by the author of the prototype Western novel, The Virginian.
