This is a Civil War era Model 1860 sword. This sword is in excellent condition and remains straight and true. The scabbard is in good condition and shows few signs of wear or rust. Additionally, the grip and handguard is in good condition, although the markers indicating the model of sword and maker at the base of the blade are worn and faded.
