World War I era 1903 Springfield Bayonet

This is a World War I era Model 1903 Springfield Bayonet. This bayonet is in good condition with only a handful of marks present along the blade. The original wrapping of the scabbard is present, although it has a slight stain which appears to be ink or a similar substance. The base of the blade is marked “SA, 1916” and “US, 646399” on the opposite. The locking mechanism on the guard does not lock with the scabbard, although it still moves slightly.
