World War II Helmet Liner with Regimental Markings
This is a World War II era Helmet Liner. This helmet liner is in very good condition externally and has a slightly damaged badge / marker of a Pennsylvanian National Guard regiment. The leather strap across the front of the helmet is in good condition as well, although some crease marks and cracks are present. There is a white “I” or “1” painted down the back of the helmet as well. The inside of the liner is in good condition, although some of the straps and pins are stained and rusted slightly.
