World War II German D.D.A.C. Car Pennant

$200.00

This is a World War II era German D.D.A.C. automobile pennant. The “Der Deutsche Automobil Club” (D.D.A.C.) was the only authorized automobile club in Germany during the Third Reich. It provided roadside assistance to members and was closely affiliated with the N.S.K.K. This D.D.A.C. car pennant is double-sided. Each side has a D.D.A.C. emblem, featuring the German national eagle and swastika. This woven emblem is affixed to a white pennant that is marked with red strips outlined by a black border. The pennant shows some age marks and the usual staining, and there are a few marks near the suspension hooks. The pennant is complete and retains both of its original nickeled metal suspension hooks.
