This is a World War II era U.S. Navy officer’s cap. This cap is in good condition for its age, and show few signs of wear and tear. The cap’s original internal label is present, and is marked as having been made in “Chas. Hill. + Son’s Ltd, Wellington, N.Z.” and was owned previously by a “Francis A. Raymaley, Commander (L) U.S.N.R.”
