This is a World War II era practice bomb. This bomb is about 8 inches in length and weighs around 5 pounds or so. This practice bomb is marked “AN-Mark 3-MOD” on one side, and on the other the serial number has become to faded to read. Additionally, there is a steel wrap of sorts around the fins of the bomb to increase its accuracy while dropped.
