World War II A-9 Sheepskin Bomber Gauntlet Gloves
This is a pair of World War II U.S. Air Force A-9 bomber gauntlet gloves. The outer pig skin cover and sheepskin liner are in very good condition and remain soft and pliable for their age. The fingers of these gloves, most likely used by either a gunner or a bomber on a plane, can bend freely and show only the slightest signs of creasing from age. The gloves are in very good condition overall with the slightest signs of scuff marks and a few stains from sweat visible on the sheepskin liner.
