World War I era U.S. Army Bolo Knife

This is a World War I era U.S. Army bolo knife. This knife is in worn condition with a damaged handle, although the blade is in good condition with few signs of wear otherwise. One side of the grip panels is missing about half of the wood while the other side is intact, and there is some light rusting to portions of the blade. The edge of the blade itself is in good condition with few signs of wear or use, and the base of the blade still retains the markings of “A.C.C.O.” on one side and “U.S. MOD. 1917, C.T.” on the other.
