World War I era 37 mm Artillery Shell


This is a World War I era U.S. military 37 mm artillery shell. This shell is in good condition, inert, and retains all of the original components save for the fuse. The head of the round is rusted and worn, and can be removed from the brass casing. The base of the shell is marked, “AM LOT 1075-42B, 37 mm GUN, Model of 1916, LOT 1075-108PEM Co.”
