World War I 1908 Pattern British Cavalry Sword
$250.00
This is a World War I era British Pattern 1908 cavalry saber. While this blade is a bit thin for a weapon in its class, this saber is a very high quality weapon with a nice patina to the blade with the original marker’s marks visible (the base being labeled with “10 09” on one side and “EFD” on the other). The guard appears to have been painted a dark green over the original silver, although this was done some time ago most likely by its original owner during the course of World War I. The plastic grips are in very good condition as well.
