RARE World War I Navy Marked 37 mm Artillery Round. This round has been rendered inert and its primer has the corresponding “punch” mark. The round is marked “P.E. & M. Co., 2-16, C, U.S.A.” on its base. Around the neck of the shell, a pair of U.S. Navy Anchor symbols flank the letters “GL” near an oval.
