Pre-World War II German Political Leader’s Gorget

This pre-World War II Political Leader’s Gorget is in good condition for its age, although someone had heavily buffed the gold-colored backing which resulted in it becoming a more bronze color. The chain and eagle seated atop a swastika, however, retain their original gold shine. The fabric backing of the gorget is in good shape and has little to no signs of staining or age, and the original “RZM” markings can be found present on the base of the chain as well as the back of one of the hooks.
