NAMED World War II German Black Wound Badge with Award Document. This was issued to Sergeant Kurt Hegener who served with the signal platoon of Anti-Tank Battalion 36. Hegener was wounded on the 13 of June, 1940, during the French Campaign. His award document was issued to him on the 1 September, 1940, and signed by his battalion commander. The wound badge shows combat wear and is missing its pin and catch.
