NAMED and Combat used World War I Leather M1911 Holster. The holster is named, with the exterior of the front flap reading “GUY G ALLEN , GROTON CONN.” Guy G. Allen was a 1st Lieutenant in the 56th Artillery “Coast Artillery Corps” (or “CAC”), a US artillery group which initially exclusively operated heavy artillery, then railway artillery, and then later air defense guns. Included with the holster and belt is a print-out of information about Lt. Allen and his service overseas.
