Korean War era M5 Bayonet

This is a Korean War era M1 Garand M5 Bayonet. This bayonet is in excellent condition and the blade appears almost new. There is a very small amount of rust and wear on the plastic grips, guard, and base of the bayonet but is otherwise devoid of any wear. The sheath is in good condition as well, although the original owner repainted the upper portion of the sheath black and painted the letters “FG” below that. Additionally, the sheath is marked “M8” indicating it was not original to the knife.
