French M1874 Gras Bayonet

This is a French M1878 Gras Bayonet. This bayonet is in excellent condition with the scabbard in equally good shape. There is little to no rust, patina, or age marks present anywhere on either, and the blade of the bayonet is perfectly straight with little no damage marks present from use in combat. The blade and hilt of the bayonet are covered in markings, including the inscription “Mre d’Orines de St. Etienne April 1875.”
