Civil War era “New Jersey” marked Cartridge Pouch

This is a Civil War era cartridge pouch with a New Jersey (or “NJ”) brass plate attached to the front. The pouch where the cartridges were held is in overall good condition with some wear on the inside. Additionally, the original pin / tack which would have held a leather strap to the pouch has been replaced with a screw and nut and glued in place. The leather strap is reproduction as well. The NJ brass plate is thought to have been added later as it dates to roughly the 1880’s.
