Civil War era Model of 1860 Cavalry Saber

This is a Civil War era Model of 1860 cavalry saber. This saber is in wonderful condition with only a handful of wear and age marks present. The blade itself has some smudges and marks from its age, and there is some slight chipping down its edge from where it was used in combat. The handguard and grip are in good condition and show only a few small signs of age or wear. Additionally, the scabbard shows well and retains some sort of shine or polish to it above its dark patina.
