Algerian Jambiya Dagger
This is a traditional Algerian Jambiya. This Jambiya (also spelled as Janbiya, Janbia, Jambia, or “جنبية ” in Arabic) is from the North of Africa near Algeria. The dagger appears to be at the very least 100 years old and features a dark wooden handle with a crack running down one side of the grip. This dagger also has a bronze pommel, guard, and scabbard. The scabbard has a pair of loops on either side for the purpose of attaching this dagger onto a belt. The blade of the dagger is very rusted and there is some chipping down its length from use in combat, but it is straight and in otherwise good condition.
