Spanish American War Belt Buckle

This is a Spanish War era brass American belt buckle. This belt buckle was discovered and unearthed in the region of Laurel Lake, New Jersey, around the year 2013. This belt buckle, in spite of the time it spent buried, only shows a nice dark age across its surface and a few small green flecks of patina in a handful of the recesses. The back of this buckle shows the same dark age mark as the front does, and is in very good condition. The original brass belt loop is present as well.
