World War I era Model 1909 U.S. Army Bolo Knife

This is a World War I era Model of 1909 Bolo Knife. This bolo knife is patterned after the Model of 1909 variant, and features a straight back with a curved handle an a “machete” style blade. The base of the blade is marked “Plumb. Phil. 1917” and the opposite is marked “US 55885.”
