Spanish War era Navy Short Sword

This is a Spanish-American War era U.S. Navy Short Sword. This sword is a double-edged weapon around 33 inches in overall length, and has a well-worn blade, grip, and guard. The guard, grip, and hilt are entirely of metal construction with the knuckle guard showing some wear and dents / malformations from use. Additionally, the blade of this sword has been sharpened significantly over time, although the blade is still structurally sound. There are a handful of marks on the blade from use.
