World War II era Custom Handkerchief
$100.00
This is a World War II era custom-made handkerchief. This handkerchief was made in London around 1944 from a used parachute. The handkerchief was custom-ordered by Samuel Parlier, a pilot who flew on a B-17 during the course of the war. The handkerchief, along with a letter written by Parlier, was shipped to his then girlfriend Jean in May 0f 1945. The handkerchief is in fantastic condition with the Air Force emblem, Jean’s name, and the phrase “London, 1944” stitched clearly into the front of the handkerchief.
