World War II Japanese Type 30 Bayonet

This is a World War II Type 30 Japanese bayonet. This bayonet shows large amounts of wear and tear from age and use in combat from chipping along the blade to large dents in the actual scabbard. The bayonet is overall straight and the blade is roughly 20 inches in length. The blade is covered in rust spots and marks with several chips down the length of the weapon. The guard of the weapon is twisted out of shape with the ring which would have gone over the barrel badly bent. The wood of the hand grip is cut and worn in several places and the metal shows signs of age and rust.
